Over the last few weeks I have spent time reflecting with gratitude and appreciation for the love, sadness, anxiety, challenges and success that has walked with me during 2018. It has truly been an amazing year and I am so grateful for my family, friends, teachers, and clients for shining a light on the path that has led me to the end of yet another year.

I was determined for this year to bring purpose and meaning to my life and to guide me to embrace my own strength in order to move towards self-acceptance and self-love (definitely work in progress!). I have learnt so much, embarked on new and exciting journeys, have established my business, started my IFM training, completed my Certified Gluten Practitioner programme, and much more. I have laughed, cried, felt sad, happy, overwhelmed, lost, but most of all grateful for everything that I have and that I have become.

As for my own personal health, I have seen significant improvements and equally set-backs, but the journey to wellness continues as I strive to further my knowledge and work on further improvements.

As the curtain draws on 2018, I find myself with pen and paper, writing down my vision for 2019. Written intentions always feel so much more powerful and meaningful and it generally allows me to feel much more connected to the vision that I hold for myself.

New Year Intentions

As a mother who wants to teach her children how to love and most importantly love and accept themselves. As a wife who wants to love and give more. As a friend who wants to honour the gift and importance of friendship. As a practitioner who wants to feel compassion for the suffering and pain that individuals have to face, and the strength needed to embark on the journey to wellness.

Most of all I want to continue my journey on how to love and accept myself for who I am (something we should be taught from a very young age, instead we are always told to be better and different). It is not until we understand how to love ourselves that we can fully love others.

Unity

Whatever your vision for the year ahead, make sure that it holds truth, kindness, compassion and that it inspires you to be the best version of yourself.

Wishing you all a truly inspiring 2019.
